North Sound Runners
River Run Series
The River Run Series is held at Langus Riverfront Park on the 4th and 5th Sunday of the month. The series started in August of 1998. The race has run every month with the only change having the December 2005 edition moved forward a day due to Christmas and is a loop course using portions of 4th Ave SE and the Langus Riverfront Trail. The course originally measured 2.3 miles but with construction over the years the loop portion is now 200+ feet short of 2.3 miles. When there is construction on the road an out and back course is used which is a true 2.3 miles. The current record holders are Bob Perry and Joanne Templeman.
